Dear _contactName_

1. PARTY TIME

The First Runfurther Party, which will include this years prize giving, a meal, a slide show or two, cake, drinking and some running - is filling up fast

DATE: 15th November

VENUE: Wilfs in Staveley, Cumbria

DETAILS: Read about it all and get a ticket HERE (limited spaces available so book early!)

2. Series Update
Nine races down three to go - how's your series shaping up? Check out the Vasque series scores here

Bullock Smithy has been and gone and the weather held up - phew as the week before was terrible - see the photos here

Next race is HP40, it goes from Buxton in a large circular route clockwise, taking in Goyt Valley, Hope Valley and many of the the Peaks deep dales. It's a fast race with very runnable trails. Click here for entry details.

Pumlumon the week after starts from the famous Red Kite feeding station in the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales. This race has some very tough terrain to cross and for a short race is a toughy but surrounded by lovely views. Click here for entry details.

The last one is Long Mynd, with excellent views all the way through the rugged countryside of South Shropshire and the Welsh Marches, with about 8,000 feet of climbing covering eight summits, following a set figure-of-eight route, with some big hill climbs.

3. Series Leaders
Andy Rankin is still top of the leader board, we have a new girl, Shirley Colquhoun, storming throughas first in the females.

See all the results here or the leader board here and check out how you are doing against this lot!

4. Grand Slamming
Stuart and Karen are still running and you can read the latest from them here, and they only have 3 races to go, just 116 miles left!

5. Mont Blanc

Well we had record number of runners from the UK in the various races around Mont Blanc a couple of weeks ago, with some excellent results. Read Andy Rankins report here. It makes for a good read.

We had excellent results from the British girls with the top slots being all British. Lucy Colquhoun was first lady and 12th overall in the CCC. Lizzy Hawker was first lady and 14th overall in the UTMB and Mandy Calvert was in the first mixed team home in the Petit Trot a Leon. Well done girls, what a superb effort by you and all the other runners from the UK.

6. SPONSORS
Some of you have been asking where you can find a dealer search Cliff Bars and Cliff Shot Bloks from - well the boys at Cliff Bar have given us this website to buy from CLIFF
