1. To be eligible to receive series prizes and spot prizes, you have to register. Registration is free and simple - see left to register
2. You must comply with all the rules of individual races - including entry procedures, kit requirements, route restrictions and checkpoint procedures
3. Neither the organisers, Runfurther nor sponsors of the Vasque Ultra-running Championship can be held responsible for actions or omissions of the individual race organisers. The decision of race organisers with regards to recorded times, results and dis-qualifications is final
4. Prizes for the overall series will be awarded on the basis of the highest 4 points scores achieved to include at least one score in each distance category
5. Events run and scores attained prior to registration are not guaranteed for inclusion - registrants should notify the Championship organisers of any prior results and we will endeavour to include these. This cannot be guaranteed
6. There is no restriction on teams and team names - these can be from running clubs, works teams, sponsored teams etc. Each runner can only belong to one team.
7. Team prizes will be awarded on the basis of the top 3 scores from those who registered for the series under the same team name
8. Age group categories will be awarded to people who raced in that age group for the whole series. People entering an age group part way through the year do not qualify for that age group in that year
9. The "maximum points" prizes will be awarded to the people who attain the highest total number of points across all 12 races, irrespective of age
10. No one person will be awarded more than one series prize. If you qualify in more than one category you will simply be asked to choose which prize you want. Individuals can also be part of a winning team
11. Spot prizes will be awarded randomly to competitors who have registered for the series even if they have not completed 4 qualifying races
12. The Vasque Ultra-running Championships is essentially an individual challenge. We expect you to respect this and refrain from carrying any practice which would help an individual achieve a better time such as carrying their kit or towing them (as is often practiced in Adventure Racing)
13. Have fun and smile! - if it hurts it's either a great run or a learning experience!!
