Read on for discounted entry fees for Runfurther Registered Runners...
Following the resounding success of the first running Trans Britain it is back for 2010. Described by 2009 winner David Wilson as “one of the best week’s of my life"
The race starts at Robert the Bruce’s cave just outside Gretna and works south to Caldbeck and then on through Mell Fell, Rydal, Dent and finally before moving on to North Wales and the finish at Ruthin Castle which is also the venue for the prize giving dinner.
Each of our race villages will be in sites where showers and loos are available as well as decent food, in fact the food is better than decent, ask anyone who did the event in 2009 and of course the Go Beyond cake
We hope we have thought of everything from personalised running top to great trails that will all combine to make this a memorable running experience.
Entrants from Runfurther can enter at a 50% discounted deposit of £125, with the balance of £500 due by 30th June 2009 or nothing if the charity option below is selected
Our goal is that you should remember this as the experience of a lifetime

As many people might know Go Beyond supports a charity set up in 2005 by Steve Adams to support the cost of secondary education for children from the Nairobi Slums.
Through competing in Trans Britain 2009 you can also help the children in Kenya. Teach Africa has charity places which are available for your deposit plus a commitment to raise £1000.
Teach Africa will also provide you with support in terms of promotional material, including video of the school and children, setting up your site with Just Giving and any other support you require to make your fundraising a success. In addition for every contribution you receive via from a UK registered tax payer you will be able to claim the government gift aid of 28% which all counts to your total.
Run your Ultra, have the experience of a lifetime and help the kids in Kenya get out of the slums through education – good for body, mind and soul
