Runfurther Headlines.....
We are livinig in "austerity" times and suggestions that the government should tax runners per mile or harness them to produce electricity have fortunately been voted down but, just like Europe doesn't seem to be able to organise a bank rescue, it seems that the runurther team can't organise an end of season do..... know
Back to basics:
So, the Runfurther end of season "do" is going to revert to the format of the first couple of years - tea/coffee, lots of cake and an amazing amount of prize giveaways! We have tried hard to find a location, a race and a date to suit as many of you as possible but we found it impossible and time has now run out.
We would like to present all those prizes to all you deserving runners so we plan to have a prize giving after the Roaches Race on Sunday 13th November (think back to our first two years...). This is cracking 15 mile event we urge as many of you as possible to make a day of it - we will have lots of spot prizes and an announcement of the 2012 UK Ultra-running Champs.
If you are going to attend it would be good to know so we know how many to cater for etc so please email us HERE with your intention to attend (it also includes a link to the race). The prize giving will be at the Roaches Race Hall in Meerbrook after the Roaches prize giving. Be great to see you....
