Championship Supporters........	The UK Ultra-running Championships 2010
	The 2010 Champs so far... Pumlumon Running Battles: Pumlumon this year saw top runners fighrting it out for the top slot on the leaderboard - Read Stuart Mills account HERE - very interesting read High Peak 40 Record numbers agian - although Bill (the organisor) can't understand why people enter, pay and don't turn up - hopefully those that didn't make it are OK and it wasn't due to injury. Maybe next time let the organisors know the week before - you never know you may get a refund! And the place can go to someone else on the waiting list. Bill also said it was the first year he had so many under 30's enter let alone win a prize!!! Great to see the younger runners coming through and doing so well at endurance sports. If anyone took photos of this event - please let us know as we would like to put them up on the website or a link to them.... 	The Runfurther End of Year Bash & prize Giving & Announcment of next years Races.... This years prize giving, cake eating, slide show watching and a moderate amount of drinking.... will be on Saturday 23rd october 2010 and is in the Hope Valley area of the Peak District. Hopefully many of you will make the party and the day time score event this year. SATURDAY: We will be starting the run from the Travellers Rest Pub or the Campsite behind at Hardhurst Farm (we will let you all know!) and it is an orienteering type event and will be a max of 3 hours running, run start times from Midday till 1pm. SATURDAY EVENING: Travellers Rest, Brough Lane Head, Brough, Bradwell, Hope Valley S33 9HG www.travellers-rest.net 7pm - welcome drinks at the pub - we have secured a part of the pub for our function so if you want to bring friends just book them in! Food, slide show, prize giving and cake eating - oh and don't forget a bit of beer and wine drinking - till late! SLIDE SHOW/TALK - by Stephen Pyke (Spyke) on his amazing Munro Record he achieved earlier this year. Be the first people to hear all about it from the man himself! SUNDAY: Meet up at the campsite for breaky or a cuppa in the cafe at about 10am and then some will go running and we will also put on a mountain bike ride, or a roady ride if someone wants to lead it!!! or you can just do what you want!!! ACCOMMODATION: The campsite has lots of spaces at Hardhurst Farm, just behind the Travellers Rest, there is a cafe onsite. Telephone no 01433 620001 as you will need to book your pitch! The Travellers Rest has a few rooms available including one that takes 4 or 5 - call 01433 623338 Hope is within Walking distance of the pub and there are many B&B's there plus another campsite called Lane Side caravan park. There is a choice of Meat, Vegie and Fish so please indicate on the booing form what you require so we can cater for you. Please fill in the BOOKING FORM HERE and then send a cheque to the address indicated on the form. We will have photos up, sponsors there, slide shows, drinks, food and alot of chatting about our year and your year of racing - be good to see you all.... Prizes will be for all the category winners plus loads and loads of spot prizes for anyone turning up....
	Runfurther Buff You can now support runfurther with your very own Runfurther Buff - spread the word about running further and help support the website that brings you the UK Ultra-running Champs - they are also pretty cool we think!!! Click on the picture to go to our online shop - the Buffs are £15 (inc p&p) online or catch us at the races where they are only £12 each, or at the party.
	Spot Prizes September - Please email us HERE if you have won a spot prize - or email people you know if they have won one as we have not had all prizes claimed yet and they go to the party if they are unclaimed! First up is the classic season opener – Wuthering Hike – a fast 31ish mile tour of Bronte country you can run as solos or pairs and will provide a good indication of how solid that winter training base has been.
