The Runfurther End of Year Bash & prize Giving & Announcment of next years Races....
This years prize giving, cake eating, slide show watching and a moderate amount of drinking.... will be on Saturday 23rd october 2010 and is in the Hope Valley area of the Peak District.
Hopefully many of you will make the party and the day time score event this year.
SATURDAY: We will be starting the run from the Travellers Rest Pub or the Campsite behind at Hardhurst Farm (we will let you all know!) and it is an orienteering type event and will be a max of 3 hours running, run start times from Midday till 1pm.

7pm - welcome drinks at the pub - we have secured a part of the pub for our function so if you want to bring friends just book them in!
Food, slide show, prize giving and cake eating - oh and don't forget a bit of beer and wine drinking - till late!
SLIDE SHOW/TALK - by Stephen Pyke (Spyke) on his amazing Munro Record he achieved earlier this year. Be the first people to hear all about it from the man himself!
SUNDAY: Meet up at the campsite for breaky or a cuppa in the cafe at about 10am and then some will go running and we will also put on a mountain bike ride, or a roady ride if someone wants to lead it!!! or you can just do what you want!!!
ACCOMMODATION: The campsite has lots of spaces at Hardhurst Farm, just behind the Travellers Rest, there is a cafe onsite. Telephone no 01433 620001 as you will need to book your pitch!
The Travellers Rest has a few rooms available including one that takes 4 or 5 - call 01433 623338

COST: The cost for the party and the running event (does not include accommodation), food, welcome drinks, cake, slide shows etc is £20 per person. There is a choice of Meat, Vegie and Fish so please indicate on the booing form what you require so we can cater for you. Please fill in the BOOKING FORM HERE and then send a cheque to the address indicated on the form.
We will have photos up, sponsors there, slide shows, drinks, food and alot of chatting about our year and your year of racing - be good to see you all....
Prizes will be for all the category winners plus loads and loads of spot prizes for anyone turning up....
