Go Beyond Trans Britain (13th to 18th September 2009)

Panic, where are my shoes! I wake up suddenly on Sunday morning searching frantically in my small but comfortable pop up tent. Did I leave them in the car when my wife had dropped me off at the Bruce’s Stone campsite, just north of Gretna Green the evening before? Could I manage to run an off road ultra running event starting in Scotland and finishing in Wales, 156 miles, climbing to 5 peaks in two days and 3 legs of Ultra distance, in the shoes I had come in? Fortunately I realised I had put my trusty Inov8s between the inner and outer tent walls, in future I would keep them with me.
